My background in painting has manifested itself more and more in my work through my increasing manipulation of the images.
The Created Landscape Series was partly inspired by the golden light in the pastoral paintings of the English Landscape School and partly by Surrealism. These pieces are compiled from multiple images I have photographed at different times and different places. I fabricated them into imaginary scenes with a surrealistic twist and a touch of whimsy.
